Practice improvements & CheatBreaker Progress Report
Hey everyone 👋
Time for a behind-the-scenes look at where development stands. We've been heads-down on two big fronts — our new Practice mode and the next generation of CheatBreaker. Here's where things are.
No firm date yet, but we're closer than ever. Let's get into it.
Full Kit Parity Achieved
Practice now has 1:1 parity with PvP Club's modern kits from last season. Every modern kit has been rebuilt and tuned to match exactly — no surprises, no inconsistencies.
Knockback values, combat feel, and hit registration now match the modern kit experience down to the detail.
Armor, potions, and inventory layouts are identical to last season's modern kits.
Projectile behavior, cooldowns, and timings have all been validated against the original kits. If you played the modern kits last season, Practice will feel instantly familiar.
Smarter, Cleaner, More Reliable
Our anti-cheat has seen substantial work this cycle — fewer false flags and a much sharper detection engine.
We've squashed a number of false flags that were affecting legitimate players. Detection is far more accurate, and players should no longer be incorrectly flagged during normal play.
Several edge-case bugs and stability issues have been resolved, making the system more robust overall.
Our detection models have been retrained and refined, significantly improving the system's ability to distinguish legitimate play from cheating. The ML pipeline is smarter, faster, and more reliable than ever.
With Practice reaching full kit parity and CheatBreaker becoming more accurate and stable, we're getting close to an open beta release. There's still some polish and testing left, but the finish line is in sight.
Stay tuned — we can't wait to get this into your hands. 💜
